Rosemaree Laurino : I began my journey as a naturopath in 1998 after graduating from The Australian College of Natural Medicine. My first position was at Organic Wholefoods, a health food shop in Fitzroy, where I was dispensing herbal remedies and learning about organic permaculture. I noticed that most of the health complaints were related to digestive disorders and food allergies, and it was then that I really began to understand and appreciate the important connection between digestive health and wellbeing.
In 2002, in the process of finding answers to my own digestive issues, I started working closely with some of the founders of colon irrigation/hydrotherapy in Melbourne. Colonic irrigation changed my health, my vitality and even my mind, so profoundly and quickly, I knew cleansing was an important part of healing any condition. I completed a certificate in colon hydrotherapy and began specialising in digestive disorders and detoxification.
In 2004, after many years of practising yoga, I trained to be a yoga teacher with Radiant Light Yoga in Queensland. Meditation and mindfulness became an essential part of my daily routine and still continues to energise, balance and ground me. I believe that everyone can begin to heal themselves by regularly making an inner connection and listening to their own guidance.
Each of us are ultimately responsible for our own health and healing, and the body knows how to come into balance given the right conditions, but with so much information out there it’s easy to get overwhelmed and confused. As the founder and naturopath of Cleanse I take great pride in offering you the best of my knowledge and experience in naturopathy and hydrotherapy, as well as the support to find your own path to wellbeing.
